Export
  • The export value of Sumatera Selatan in July 2022 reached US $ 866.10 million, up 46.84 percent compared to exports in June 2022. Compared to July 2021, the export value rose by 78.22 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in July 2022 reached US$814.53 million, up 57.70 percent compared to June 2022. Compared to July 2021, non-oil and gas exports increased by 71.58 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Sumatera Selatan from January to July 2022 reached US$4,212.85 million, an increase of 50.47 percent compared to the same period in 2021, as well as non-oil and gas exports reaching US$3,956.18 million, an increase of 45.22 percent.
  • The largest increase in non-oil and gas exports in July 2022 compared to June 2022 occurred in mineral fuel commodities (coal and lignite) of US$155.15 million (60.54 percent), while the largest decline in non-oil and gas exports occurred in inorganic chemicals commodities of US$2.83 million. (30.63 percent).
  • By sector, non-oil and gas exports of agricultural products from January to July 2022 rose 49.05 percent compared to the same period in 2021, exports of processing industry products rose 6.48 percent, and exports of mining and other products rose 153.56 percent.
  • The largest export in July 2022 was to China at US$245.60 million, followed by India at US$118.78 million, and to Malaysia at US$71.59 million, with the third contribution reaching 50.34 percent.

  • The import value of Sumatera Selatan in July 2022 reached US$74.58 million, down 21.26 percent compared to June 2022, and up 144.60 percent compared to July 2021.
  • Oil and gas imports in July 2022 were valued at US$6.97 million, up 293.19 percent compared to June 2022, and up 3,357.97 percent compared to July 2021.
  • Non-oil and gas imports in July 2022 were valued at US$67.61 million, down 27.25 percent compared to June 2022, and up 123.21 percent compared to July 2021.
  • The largest decline in imports of non-oil and gas goods in July 2022 compared to June 2022 was machinery, electrical equipment and its parts, which fell by US$16.46 million (68.74 percent). Meanwhile, the biggest increase was rubber and rubber products, which increased by US$1.52 million (65.84 percent).
  • The three largest suppliers of imported goods from January to July 2022 were China at US$258.35 million (53.54 percent), Singapore at US$59.84 (12.38 percent), and Thailand at US$33.66 million (6.96 percent). The value of imports from ASEAN in July was US$184.39 million (33.64 percent) and the European Union US$13.90 million (2.54 percent).
  • According to the category of use of goods, the value of imports from January to July 2022 against the same period the previous year saw a decline in consumer goods of US$ 2.78 million (37.89 percent), capital goods of US$ 71.69 million (30.56 percent), while raw materials raw materials/auxiliaries increased by US$111.39 million (41.37 percent).
  • Sumatera Selatan's trade balance in July 2022 experienced a surplus of US$791.52 million, from the non-oil and gas sector of US$746.92 million, and the oil and gas sector of US$44.60 million.
