Abstraction

  • Sumatera Selatan's export value in November 2022 reached US$635.35 million, a decrease of 5.70 percent compared to exports in October 2022. Compared to November 2021, the export value increased by 16.12 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in 2022 reached US$593.81 million, down 6.33 percent compared to October 2022. Compared to November 2021, non-oil and gas exports increased by 8.53 percent. Cumulatively, the export value of Sumatera Selatan from January to November 2022 reached US$6,938.80 million, an increase of 44.77 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
  • The largest share of November 2022 exports was China with US$278 million, India with US$66.74 million, and Malaysia with US$57.68 million, with the contribution of the three of them reaching 63.34 percent. Meanwhile, exports to ASEAN and the European Union were 26.45 percent and 2.92 percent, respectively.
  • Cumulatively, Sumatera Selatan's largest export value from January to November 2022 is aimed at China, India and Malaysia, with a value of US$2,324.81 million, US$848.03 million and US$539.14 million respectively.
  • Sumatera Selatan's import value in November 2022 reached US$49.97 million, down 20.63 percent compared to October 2022, and down 54.62 percent compared to November 2021.
  • November 2022 oil and gas imports were valued at US$4.01 million, down 35.18 percent compared to October 2022, and down 68.51 percent compared to November 2021.
  • Non-oil and gas imports in November 2022 were valued at US$45.96 million, down 19.04 percent compared to October 2022, and down 52.80 percent compared to November 2021. The three largest import supplier countries for January-November 2022 were China US$405.27 million (47 .41 percent), Singapore US$82.82 million (9.69 percent), and Malaysia US$64.02 million (7.49 percent). The value of imports from ASEAN in January-November 2022 was US$265.99 million (31.11 percent) and the European Union US$29.08 million (3.40 percent).
  • Sumatera Selatan's trade balance in November 2022 experienced a surplus of US$585.38 million, originating from the non-oil and gas sector of US$547.84 million, and the oil and gas sector of US$37.54 million.
