Abstract

The number of workers in Lubuk Linggau City in August 2024 was 128.34 thousand people, an increase of 2.74 thousand people compared to August 2023. In line with the increase in the number of workers, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) also increased by 0.36 percentage points.
The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2024 was 5.29 percent, down 0.35 percentage points compared to August 2023.
The working population in Lubuk Linggau City in August 2024 was 121.55 thousand people, an increase of 3.03 thousand people compared to August 2023.
As many as 56.37 thousand people (46.37 percent) worked in informal activities, an increase of 1.83 percentage points compared to August 2023. Meanwhile, the number of formal workers in Lubuk Linggau City was 65.18 thousand people (53.63 percent).
The percentage of underemployed workers fell by 3.50 percentage points, while the percentage of part-time workers rose by 1.96 percentage points compared to August 2023.
