Abstract

In December 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Lubuk Linggau City of 1.02 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.49.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: clothing and footwear group by 1.06 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.82 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.22 percent; health group by 0.45 percent; transportation group by 0.22 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.25 percent; education group by 1.78 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.82 percent; and personal care and other services group by 8.23 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index were: the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 0.08 percent and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.38 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in December 2024 was 0.58 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Lubuk Linggau City in December 2024 was 1.02 percent.
