Abstract

South Sumatra's NTP in April 2023 rose 1.50 percent compared to last month's NTP, from 103.61 to 105.17.
The increase in April 2023 NTP was influenced by the increase in NTP in almost all sub-sectors; Food Crops 0.76 percent, Plantation 1.85 percent, Livestock 1.66 percent, Fisheries 0.89 percent, Capture Fisheries 1.23 percent and Aquaculture 0.36 percent. Meanwhile, NTP in the Horticulture sub-sector fell by 2.59 percent.
In April 2023, South Sumatra Province experienced rural inflation of 0.30 percent.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for South Sumatra Province in April 2023 was 103.34 or an increase of 1.41 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
