Abstract

The number of workforce in August 2020 was 121.05 thousand people, an increase of 1.27 thousand people compared to August 2019. However, the 2020 Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) tends not to change from 2019.

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2020 was 7.41 percent or as many as 8,971 people, which means an increase of 2.71 percent compared to August 2019.

The total working population of 112.08 thousand people, decreased by 2,052 from August 2019. Employment that experienced an increase in contribution compared to August 2019 was the tertiary sector, namely 5.70 percentage points.
