Abstraction
 Palembang City in October 2020 experienced inflation of 0.16 percent, inflation for the calendar year (cumulative January - October 2020) was 0.61 percent. Meanwhile, the annual inflation "Year on Year" (October 2020 to October 2019) was 1.20 percent.
The dominant commodities that caused inflation in October 2020 in Palembang City include: red chilies, shallots, cooking oil, broiler chicken, and household fuels.
 Lubuk Linggau City experienced inflation in October 2020 by 0.38 percent, inflation for the calendar year (January - October 2020 cumulative) was 1.22 percent. Meanwhile, the annual inflation "Year on Year" (October 2020 to October 2019) is 1.62 percent.
The dominant commodities that cause inflation in Lubuk Linggau City include: red chilies, colleges / universities, shallots, household fuels.
 South Sumatra Province in October 2020 experienced inflation of 0.18 percent, cumulative inflation until October (Calendar Year 2020) of 0.66 percent. Meanwhile, the annual inflation "Year on Year" (October 2020 to October 2019) is 1.24 percent.

 Indonesia in October 2020, based on monitoring of prices during October 2020 for 90 CPI cities, shows that 66 CPI cities experienced inflation. Meanwhile, 24 cities experienced deflation.
The highest inflation occurred in Kota Sibolga, amounting to 1.04 percent, the lowest was in the cities of DKI Jakarta, Bekasi, Cirebon, and Jember at 0.01 percent.
The highest deflation occurred in the City of Manokwari at 1.81 percent, the lowest was in the city of Surabaya at 0.02 percent.
