Abstract

Number of foreign tourists (foreign tourists) who visit to South Sumatra through the entrance Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang in January 2020 1,007 visits rose by 32.15 percent compared to December 2019 of which 762 visits. 

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels South Sumatra in January 2020 was recorded at 48.11 percent, or down 10.87 points compared to the TPK December 2019 hotels which amounted to 58.98 percent. If compared to the same period in 2019, The TPK for January 2020 also decreased by
11.34 points.

The highest ROR for 2020 occurred in 5-star hotels by 49.19 percent and the lowest 1-star hotels by 32.97 percent

Average Length of Stay of all hotel guests in a month January 2020 was 1.44 days, down by 0.10 days compared to December 2019 which amounted to 1.54
day.

The average length of stay of foreign guests is 2.11 days, decreased by 1.20 days compared to December 2019 which is 3.31 days and the average length of stay domestic guests for 1.44 days, down 0.09 days compared to December 2019 which amounted to 1.53 days
