Abstract

The city of Lubuklinggau in January 2020 experienced inflation of 0.36 percent, cumulative inflation (calendar year 2020) of 0.36 percent. While inflation "year on year" (January 2020 against January 2019) of 1.77 percent.  Dominant commodities contributing to inflation in the City of Lubuklinggau include: Red Chili, Shallot, Cooking Oil and Garlic.  The Province of South Sumatra in January 2020 experienced inflation of 0.60 percent (based on inflation calculations in Lubuklinggau City and Palembang City). Cumulative inflation until January (Calendar year 2020) of 0.60 percent. While the annual inflation "year on year" (January 2020 to January 2019) amounted to 2.43 percent.  Indonesia in January 2020, experienced an inflation of 0.39 percent. Cumulative inflation until January (Calendar year 2020) of 0.39 percent. While the annual inflation "year on year" (January 2020 to January 2019) amounted to 2.68 percent.  Based on monitoring of prices during January 2020 in 90 CPI cities, it shows that 79 CPI cities experienced inflation, while 11 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Meulaboh by 1.44 percent, the lowest in Gorontalo City by 0.03 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Bau-bau City by 1.39 percent, the lowest in Kudus City by 0.01 percent
