Abstraction
The Farmers Exchange Rate of South Sumatra Province in May 2019 was recorded at 91.52 or decreased by 0.26 percent compared to the previous month's FTT, the decline in FTT was influenced by the Farmer Received Price Index (IT) which increased by 0.47 percent, lower compared to the increase in Ib which rose by 0.73 percent.
• Farmers Exchange Rate Decrease in May 2019 was influenced by the drop in FTT in the food crops sub-sector which was quite large at 2.40 percent. Whereas FTT in other subsectors experienced an increase namely: horticulture 1.45 percent, 0.12 percent plantations, livestock 1.33 percent, fisheries in general 0.63 percent, capture fisheries 0.64 percent and aquaculture by 0, 62 percent.
• In May 2019, rural inflation occurred in South Sumatra by 1.02 percent, which was caused by an increase in the index in all groups, each rising by: 1.84 percent foodstuffs, processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.30 percent, housing 0.14 percent, clothing 0.87 percent, health 0.18 percent, education, recreation and sports 0.08 percent and transportation and communication 0.34 percent.
• South Sumatra Agricultural Household Exchange (NTUP) in May 2019 amounted to 98.92 or decreased by 0.47 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
