Economic Growth of South Sumatera Province Quarter I-2017

The economy of South Sumatera Province measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in Q1 / 2017 reached Rp91.67 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp67.57 trillion.

The economy of South Sumatera Province in the first quarter of 2017 grew 5.11 percent (y-on-y) from the same period in 2016 by 4.93 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by Transportation and Warehousing by 8.77 percent. In terms of expenditures by Foreign Exports Components grew by 63.26 percent.
The economy of South Sumatra Province in the first quarter of 2017 against the previous quarter increased by 1.08 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, this growth is caused by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries which grew 10.18 percent. While in terms of expenditure is more caused by the Foreign Exports grew 34.92 percent
