Abstract

Lubuklinggau in February 2017 experienced an inflation of 0.30 percent. Year to date inflation (cumulative to February 2017) of 1.15 percent and the rate of inflation "year on year" (February 2017 to February 2016) was 3.86 percent. Inflation Lubuklinggau in February 2017 occurred due to the increase in the price index of 4 (four) groups of expenditure, namely housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel (2.37 percent); food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco (0.65 percent); transportation, communication and financial services (0.59 percent); as well as education, recreation and sports (0.07 percent). While the three (3) groups of expenditure index declines, the price of food (1.29 percent); clothing (0.89 percent); and health group by 0.17 percent.
