A regular BPS agenda involving the Provincial BPS was again held early this year. The event, titled Concentrated Quarterly Concert (PDR) / PDRB Quarterly 2017, was attended by 116 participants, consisting of Head of Region Balance and Statistical Analysis, Consumer Accounts Section Head, Head of All BPS Production Branch Survey, and staff and structural from Directorate of Balance of Expenditure & Balance of Production.
The event, held on 24-27 January 2018 at Novotel Mangga Dua Hotel, Jakarta was also attended by Deputy Head of Balance Sheet and Statistical Analysis, Sri Soelistyowati, Director of Production Balance Sheet, Setianto, Director of Expense Balance, Puji Agus Kurniawan, and Director of Analysis and Development Statistics, Sentot Build Widoyono.
This concert aims to synchronize the understanding of System of National Accounts (SNA) 2008 as well as the revision pattern between Central and Regional BPS in the calculation of quarterly GDP / PDRB 2017. In addition, the purpose of this concert is to maintain discrepancy and primarily to generate GDP / GRDP is more qualified.
In his speech at the opening of the concert on Wednesday (24/1), Sri Soelistyowati invited all participants to always coordinate with related institutions and subject matter in terms of data collection of PDB / PDRB. In addition, Lies, as he was addressed, also advised to maintain the independence of BPS and share and update knowladge with all employees.
