The preparation of the Financial Sequence of Accounts (FSA) or integrated Economic Balance Sheet continues to be developed. John Joisce, International Monetary Fund (IMF) Expert, visit BPS for FSA discussion. The visit at the beginning of this year was packed in a workshop which was held in a few days ie on 8-12 January 2018.
Opening this workshop, Puji Agus Kurniawan, Director of the Expenditure Account Balance, outlined the achievements made during the FSA drafting process according to the priority recommendations given by the IMF. This presentation is held in Building 1st floor 8, BPS. The process of preparing the FSA is now still worked together by BPS and other agencies such as BI, OJK, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises. Some achievements have been achieved by BPS in 2017. Achievements include SNA 2008 training, MoU creation between BPS and Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises and division of tasks between BPS and BI in the framework of FSA preparation.
Interagency cooperation is done to facilitate the process of arranging the FSA that must synchronize as well as compile antarastansi data to be integrated. Related to the achievements that have been presented, John Joisce gave appreciation to BPS. According to him, BPS already knows well what to do and BPS is doing it.
Closing his presentation, Puji also conveyed some of the challenges that are still faced by BPS in the preparation of this FSA. John Joisce, who also posed some questions to confirm, provided an entry related to the ongoing FSA compilation.
